AGS Blackjack Side Bets
Table Rules
-
The objective of
blackjack is to have a hand with a higher point value than the dealer. All
numbered cards have a point value equal to their number. Face cards are
all valued as 10s. Aces may be counted as 1 or 11.
-
A blackjack occurs when
an ace and any face or 10 card are dealt as the first two cards to a hand.
Any other combination that adds to 21 will be counted as 21 but not a
blackjack. Blackjacks pay 3:2.
-
Clicking or tapping any
blackjack bet circle will add the currently selected chip to that wager,
up to the table limit.
-
The deal button will
deal two cards to all active wagers and to the dealer. The dealer will
receive their second card facedown, while all other cards are dealt face
up.
-
After the initial two
cards are dealt, the player may hit or stand. On hit, an additional card
will be dealt to that hand. If the new total exceeds 21, the hand busts
and no prize is awarded for the base game wager. On stand, no additional
cards are dealt and play proceeds to the next hand or the dealer.
-
The player will
continue to be given the option to hit or stand until that hand reaches or
exceeds 21.
-
If the initial two
cards for a hand have equal point value, the hand may be split for an
additional wager equal to the base game wager.
-
Split aces may be hit.
-
After any hand is
initially dealt two cards, the player may double down, doubling the
initial base game wager. The player may double down on split hands.
-
After the initial two
cards are dealt for any hand, that hand may be surrendered. A surrendered
hand will have half the base game wager returned and will not be played. A
hand may not be surrendered after a split.
-
If the dealer has an
ace as the up card and the player has a blackjack, even money will be
offered, and pays 1:1 regardless of the dealer’s hand. If the dealer has
an ace as the upcard and the player does not have a blackjack, insurance
will be offered. Insurance costs half the base game wager for each hand
and pays 2:1 if the dealer has a blackjack.
-
After all player hands
are complete, the dealer’s hand will be played. The dealer must hit on any
score 16 or below. The dealer stands on all 17s.
-
If the dealer’s hand
exceeds 21, the dealer busts, and all non-busted player hands win.
-
If the dealer does not
bust, the dealer’s hand is compared to all non-busted player hands. Only
the total hand value is used for each hand. Winning player hands pay 1:1.
If the dealer hand is equal to a player hand, that hand is a “push” and
the player’s bet is returned.
Side Bets
-
While bets are cleared,
you may choose which two side bets are available for play. You may choose
to wager the base game wager, either side bet, or all three for any hand.
-
The place button will
add your currently selected chip to all side bet wager circles for all
hands.
